Incorporating the knowledge gained from the motorsports program, the GRMN Yaris is a fully tuned version of the GR Yaris. Wide-ranging tuning points include improved body rigidity, lower center of gravity, reduced weight, enhanced aerodynamics, and the adoption of close-ratio transmission.In addition to the elevated performance, the Yaris GRMN has two service programs, the ‘Update Program’ and the 'Personalization Program’. The former allows the vehicle's performance to be improved at any time by adding parts or updating software, while the latter analyzes the user's driving data at designated venues such as circuits and uses that to match the car to each individual's driving style.In addition to the base model, the lineup includes a ‘Circuit Package’ that offers on-road performance improvements based on the experience gained in the Super Taikyu Series. Special features on this model include damping force adjustable Bilstein shock absorbers, 18-inch brakes and BBS wheels, lip spoiler, side skirts, and carbon rear spoiler.In addition to the ‘Circuit Package’, a dealer option ‘Rally Package’ is also available with parts and setup to improve drivability on all types of road surfaces.
